JULY 3RD INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA AND MUSIC FESTIVAL
2014 will be the 42nd year for this special family tradition. Held on the football field at Analy High School, the gates open at 5:30 pm. Featuring live music, dancing, free games and relays, food, a fun raffle for prizes, the community comes together, with blankets and picnics, to celebrate Independence Day.
Bands start to play, along with the dancing, at 6 pm.
A flag ceremony, led by fife and drum, precedes the singing of the Star Spangled Banner, and then the Blast-off of the fireworks show begins at approximately 9:40 pm.
This is our Club’s major fundraising event. More than 4000 people attend each year.
Numerous generous sponsors, volunteers, the Sebastopol Fire and Police Departments, all contribute to its continued success. Over 30 community organizations are direct beneficiaries of our Club’s donations.
